- As a 7th year Doc student, I’m hoping to finish this degree and walk on December 15th, 2007. This is such a long process as I’ve been writing my dissertation for 4 years. I’ve just submitted my 1st, 3rd and 4th chapters to my editor, formatter and now my dissertation chair and methodologist. I’ve done things the hard way and would love to share with others an easier way. I want to share with others how to get through this process in a quick and easy way as to not overwhelm. No one can teach you the process, because you learn as you go. I do believe that someone can chunk it into smaller parts for you so that you can understand the pieces without having to understand the whole.
